I am by far not a master of sides, it is my nightmare to have to bring a side some place, but I am getting better. My excuse is that with only the two of us, a side can sometimes go to waste. I usually stick to simple things such as mashed potatoes, steamed veggies, veggies cooked in a butter sauce- yeah I know not super healthy, but super tasty. I also do a lot of rice or egg noodles. I tend to try to add the veggies into a meal so that I can get my picky husband to eat things like broccoli. The only veggie he likes that I am only partial to on it’s own is carrots.
